Prior to HDC, Chris was a managing member of Instream Partners LLC. Chris founded Instream Capital LLC in 2004 to make short-term, secured loans to special-situation companies similar to those made by HDC. Before founding Instream Partners in 2000, Chris had more than 20 years in investment banking. He worked for Dean Witter Reynolds in New York and San Francisco. From 1986 until 1990, Chris worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert in Beverly Hills. In 1990, he helped found and was co-head of the corporate finance department at Jefferies Group. Chris has broad experience with both large-cap and middle-market companies and has executed all types of capital markets transactions and provided M&A advisory services. He has managed specialty groups for industrial growth, financial services, interactive entertainment, real estate and health care. Chris pioneered several structured finance/asset-backed products used by financial institutions to manage high-yield portfolios.
Prior to HDC, Todd was a member of Instream Capital LLC with responsibility for originating, structuring, and evaluating
investment opportunities. Todd has an extensive background executing corporate finance and M&A transactions in the technology,
media, and real estate industries. Todd was also a member of Instream Partners LLC. Prior to Instream, Todd was with UBS
Warburg LLC in the technology corporate finance group, working primarily with software companies. Previously, he worked
for Veronis Suhler Stevenson, executing M&A transactions in consumer publishing. Additionally, Todd spent two years in the
real estate corporate finance group at Citicorp Securities. Todd earned an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BA in
economics from the University of Pennsylvania.
Prior to Hunting Dog Capital LLC, Rob was the managing partner of FEA Capital Management LLC, a private investment firm focusing on
lower/middle market investments in Europe and the U.S. Before founding FEA Capital Management LLC, Rob was one of four original
partners and was on the investment committee of Fifth Street Capital LLC, a private investment company focused on financing
transactions in the middle market. His roles included oversight of deal origination, evaluation of potential investments,
execution of investments, sourcing of capital for the funds and building out the regional offices. Prior to joining Fifth Street Capital, he was a Principal at ORIX USA Corporation where he originated and managed
the mezzanine efforts on behalf of ORIX Merchant Banking. Rob also has significant experience investing in Latin American
corporate debt securities and has held positions at Salomon Brothers, Bear Stearns and Societe Generale. Rob has a BA in
economics from Yale University and a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
